Mauro Icardi Finalizes Divorce as Wanda Nara's €250k Monthly Support Demand Is Denied
Mauro Icardi's Marriage Officially Ended by Milan Court
The legal battle between Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara has taken a decisive turn after a Milan court formally dissolved their marriage. The court rejected Nara's demand for €250,000 in monthly spousal support, marking a significant moment in their prolonged divorce dispute.
Court Rejects Wanda Nara's Support Claims
The 33-year-old footballer announced the ruling on social media, confirming that the court sided with him. The judge concluded that Nara had enough income and assets to sustain herself without financial assistance from Icardi. Additionally, the court dismissed her claim seeking compensation for career opportunities she said she gave up during their marriage, finding no evidence to back the claim.
Icardi also stated that the court ordered Nara to cover two-thirds of the legal expenses from the case. This ruling follows earlier defeats for Nara; in June, a request for temporary monthly maintenance was denied due to her professional status, and her appeal was dismissed the following month.
Real Estate Dispute Still Active
Despite the divorce decision, tensions remain over property matters. Icardi revealed an ongoing legal case in Milan involving the reversal of real estate transfers and the return of assets to him. This conflict adds another layer to the couple's very public separation, often shared through social media updates.
Icardi Looks Ahead After Divorce Victory
Having spent four seasons at Galatasaray in Turkey’s Süper Lig before leaving recently, Icardi described the court decision as the start of a new phase in his life. He did not reveal specific plans but celebrated the outcome of the divorce proceedings.
For Wanda Nara, the refusal of her substantial monthly support claim represents a major blow. Yet, the unresolved property dispute suggests further legal battles may lie ahead before all financial issues are fully settled.
