Dorking Wanderers Boss Marc White's Fiery Half-Time Rant Goes Viral After Swearing and Table-Flipping
Marc White's Explosive Half-Time Outburst Captures Attention
Dorking Wanderers manager Marc White has become an internet sensation following a half-time dressing room rant in which he swore 38 times and flipped a table twice. The incident occurred during a sixth-tier match against Hemel Hempstead Town, where his team was trailing 2-1 at the break.
Outburst Caught on Camera
The intense moment was recorded by the Bunch of Amateurs YouTube channel. White lost his temper after seeing his team let slip an early lead. Alfie Rutherford had scored first, beating goalkeeper Michael Johnson, but goals from George Williams, including a late penalty, turned the game around. At half-time, White addressed his players with a torrent of expletives.
"What’s f****** wrong with you lot? Pinch, Josh, what’s f****** wrong with you? Why the f*****..."
He then punched and overturned a table, clearly frustrated. His furious words continued:
"Why the f*** do you f****** play on this s*** pitch? F*** it off! F*** it off! You’re coming off. F****** terrible. You’re near it. F****** liven up. F****** s***. It’s embarrassing for me! Don’t play on this s*** pitch in a full press! S***! F****** s***! You f****** sort this out you bunch of cs. You lot should be going mental at your teammates. I’ve told you. F*** s*** goals. I am f****** appalled. You’ll want to hope this scoreline doesn’t stay the same. I’m f****** telling you. You f****** sort this out you cs. You f*** better get better as a team at not making the same s*** mistakes. S*** mistakes! You better show some bs now. You show some f bs. Get out, just f get out! F****** sitting in here. F****** get out!"
White stormed out briefly before returning, continuing his tirade while flipping the table again:
"I’m gonna have a f****** punch up! Who’s told you to stay in here? Get out! F*** get out. Now! F****** get out! F****** disgrace!"
Manager Reflects on Viral Video
After the footage went viral, White spoke to Daily Star Sport, sharing his thoughts on reactions to his behavior:
"It surprises me some people these days. There is a modern era to football whereby people don’t quite know what’s really going on, because it’s a little bit like the Premier League’s a bit glitzy. But anyone involved in the game knows that what happened on Tuesday, it might not happen every week, but it certainly happens around the game on a regular basis. The luxury at Dorking is that because we’ve got a Bunch Of Amateurs filming it, people get to see it. Cameras have been around us for maybe seven years, I don’t even think about them, to be honest, ever. But yeah, I was definitely more angry than normal."
Match Result and Next Fixture
Following White’s passionate halftime speech, Dorking Wanderers responded in the second half. Dawid Rogalski scored with a header from a corner, while Josh Green restored Hemel Hempstead’s lead with a half-volley. Alfie Rutherford grabbed an equalizer in the 89th minute, leaving the match at a thrilling 3-3 draw.
White’s team will return to Meadowbank Stadium on Saturday to face Weston-super-Mare. Avoiding a poor start will likely be key to keeping their fiery manager calm in the future.
