Gophers–Tommies Women’s Basketball Clash Rescheduled

MINNEAPOLIS – The early-season meeting between the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas women’s basketball teams will tip off a day later than originally planned.

The in-state showdown at Williams Arena – “The Barn” presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota – has been moved from Dec. 1 to Dec. 2, keeping the matchup on the same weekend but shifting the calendar by 24 hours.

For fans, the countdown now comes with a clear ticket roadmap.

Season tickets, which lock in seats for every home date, are already available through the Gophers’ ticket office. Single-game access will roll out in stages: season ticket holders get the first crack on Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. CT, followed by Gopher Score members on Sept. 22 at 9 a.m. CT. The wider public steps in on Sept. 24, again at 9 a.m. CT, when remaining single-game seats go on sale.

Tipoff time, broadcast details and the full promotional schedule for the night at The Barn will follow later, setting the stage for one of the headline nonconference games on Minnesota’s home slate.
