Organizer’s Comments and Police Footage
The organizer, affiliated with the nationwide youth sports group i9 Sports, praised Nevada’s skills during the recorded police conversation.
“The kid is good. He's great. Really good. He's very advanced compared to the other ones, so he's scoring a lot of goals. But he's pushing the kids... So, I try to tell him, don't push; we want to play without pushing, right?”
The organizer explained that Nevada’s parents became confrontational after their son was removed from the game, expressing frustration toward them.
“I just want him out. Immediately. Just give me their names so I can give them their refund.”
The family’s video did not show Nevada making inappropriate physical contact. Police did not take any action against Nevada’s family, informing the organizer they had no authority to do so.
One officer even expressed curiosity about watching Nevada play.
“I kind of want to see him play. I bet he's good.”
