Messi Adds $10.4 Million Sunreef Yacht to His Luxury Assets
Lionel Messi, the Inter Miami star, has acquired a €10 million ($10.4 million) luxury yacht from Sunreef Yachts, marking another milestone in his billionaire lifestyle. This custom 28-metre catamaran will join his MIM Ocean charter fleet in Spain, blending family leisure with business ambitions.

The yacht, still under construction in the United Arab Emirates, boasts twin 1,000-horsepower engines and a full-beam master suite, alongside four guest cabins. It also features a garage for personalized Jet Skis and an exclusive Ocean Lounge that offers direct water access for swimming. Designed for privacy and luxury, the vessel suits Messi's love for time at sea with his family.
“It’s a real pleasure to join the Sunreef family. My family and I have always loved spending time at sea... Sunreef Yachts have the style and features I really like,” Messi said.
Francis Lapp, Sunreef’s founder and CEO, expressed pride in welcoming Messi and his family to the brand. Beyond private enjoyment, the yacht is set to become part of Messi’s commercial charter fleet operating around Spain’s Balearic Islands, turning personal passion into business.
Messi’s Business Moves Stretch Beyond Football
This purchase coincides with Messi expanding his ventures beyond playing, particularly within Spanish football. He recently became the owner of CD Eldense, a club founded in 1921 in Elda, Alicante. The acquisition aims to boost the club’s sporting, social, and institutional growth while keeping its local roots intact.

- October 2026: Acquired CD Eldense, which competes at a higher level
Messi also plans to possibly hold a stake in Inter Miami after his playing contract concludes. From yachts to football clubs, his portfolio stretches far beyond the pitch.
The Sunreef ULTIMA 88 catamaran stands out as both a family retreat and a commercial asset, reflecting Messi’s evolving interests in luxury and entrepreneurship.
