Juventus Aiming to Renew Contract of French Defender Pierre Kalulu
Juventus Seeks to Extend Pierre Kalulu's Stay
Juventus is reportedly moving forward with plans to extend the contract of Pierre Kalulu, the 26-year-old French international, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Currently tied to the Turin club until 2029, Kalulu has become a key figure for the team both on the field and within the squad. Despite interest from several Premier League teams during the summer transfer window, the defender from Lyon chose to remain with the Bianconeri.
This commitment has prompted the club’s management to start talks with Kalulu’s agents. The player’s representatives have shown openness to these negotiations, indicating a mutual willingness to discuss a new deal.
Career Path and Impact at Juventus
Kalulu developed through the youth system at Olympique Lyonnais but never made a senior appearance for their first team. He moved to AC Milan in 2020, where he featured in 112 matches over four seasons. In 2024, he signed with Juventus, quickly becoming a reliable presence in defense.
The French defender has earned three caps for Les Bleus, reflecting his rising profile on the international stage as well.
