On Friday in Las Vegas, both men hit the welterweight limit ahead of their long-brewing clash at T-Mobile Arena, clearing the final hurdle before they settle it under the lights on Saturday night, live on Paramount+.

Garcia, the WBC Welterweight champion, came in at a lean 145.5 lbs, looking sharp on the scales and clearly comfortable under the spotlight. Benn, the British puncher who has chased this fight through months of tension and transatlantic back-and-forth, weighed 146 lbs, right on target and visibly dialed in. No drama. No excuses left. Just 12 rounds waiting for them at 147.

Opetaia–Mikaelian unify at cruiserweight

If the main event brings the noise, the co-main brings the danger.

Jai Opetaia, one of the most feared cruiserweights on the planet, registered 199 lbs as he prepares to defend his Zuffa Boxing and The Ring cruiserweight titles. Across from him stands WBC 200-pound champion Noel Mikaelian, who hit the championship limit at 200 lbs on the dot.

It’s a clean, classic unification setup: two belts on one side, one on the other, and a razor-thin margin between them on the scales.

Main card ready to roll

The undercard followed suit with a professional, no-fuss weigh-in that sets up a full night of action.

At 135 lbs, Mark Magsayo tipped the scales at 134.5, with Andres Cortes matching the division ceiling at 135. Their lightweight meeting promises speed and volume, and both men looked like they’d done the hard work early.

In the heavyweight bout, Damazion Vanhouter came in at 234.5 lbs, giving up size to Raphael Akpejiori, who weighed 246 lbs. It’s the classic question: lighter legs and quicker hands, or sheer mass and power?

Oswaldo Molina (131.5) and Pablo Rubio (131) both slid under the 132 lbs mark, while at super middleweight, Abel Gonzalez (167.5) and Raul Salomon (167) checked in just below the 168 lbs limit, each man looking tight at the weight.

The 154 lbs contest sees Vlad Panin at 151.5 and Dakota Linger at 150.5, both comfortably under, both with room to rehydrate and bring some snap to their shots.

Welterweight depth runs through the card as well. Jose Ramirez and Alex Rocha mirrored each other at 146.5 lbs, a perfectly balanced matchup on paper and on the scale.

One oddity closed the list: Sean Garcia and Abraham Morales were both listed at 134 lbs for a bout marked at 147 lbs. The numbers say lightweight, the billing says welterweight, but either way, both fighters came in level and ready.

All that’s left now is the walk, the ring, and the reckoning for a welterweight champion who made 145.5 and a British challenger who answered at 146.
